Admissions Process

Since 1948, St. Joseph has been fostering faith, academic excellence, and a spirit of service. We're excited to welcome your family to our Nest! Here's what to expect as you begin the admissions process.

New Families

1 – Schedule a Tour

Visit our campus, meet our faculty, and experience life at St. Joseph. Tours are available by appointment only by calling the office at 281-422-9749.

2 – Apply
Complete your online application to begin the admissions process.

3 – Interview
Meet with our principal for a family interview to get to know one another, discuss your child's educational needs, and answer any questions you may have.

4 – Acceptance
Once accepted, you'll receive enrollment information and everything you need to prepare for the school year.

Eligibility

Required Documents

✔ Proof of Immunizations
✔ Birth Certificate
✔ Transcript & Standardized Test Results (if applicable)

Requirements by Grade Level

Pre-Kindergarten through First Grade

Age Requirements

PK3: Child must be 3 years old on or before September 1.

PK4: Child must be 4 years old on or before September 1.

Kindergarten: Child must be 5 years old on or before September 1.

First Grade: Child must be 6 years old on or before September 1.

Please submit the required enrollment documents listed above, including a birth certificate, immunization records, baptismal certificate (optional), and any additional records that apply.

Additional testing may be requested if needed. Final admission decisions are made by the school administration.

Grades 2-8

Transfer students entering grades 2–8 are evaluated based on academic records and grade-level readiness.

Required documents include:

Birth certificate

Baptismal certificate (if applicable)

Official transcript/report cards

Standardized test results (if available)

Current immunization records

Additional testing may be required. Final admission decisions are made by the school administration.
