The new uniforms for the 2017-2018 school year were revealed at a fashion show during St. Joseph Regional Catholic School’s State of the School Address. Students modeled new uniforms with updated colors to better reflect the school’s traditional colors—blue and gold.
The classic, solid navy blue pants and shorts will remain. However, gold polo style shirts will replace the current white shirts. The school is also swapping out their red, white and blue plaid skirts and jumpers with blue and gold plaid skirts and jumpers.
The school’s uniform contract with Parker School Uniforms was up for renewal, and Principal Deborah Francis thought it was the perfect time to implement these changes. “Knowing your school’s colors are an important part of raising school spirit, and I made sure the students knew this from day one,” she said.
The change in uniforms is one of the many positive transformations the school has seen in the past eight months, and it certainly won’t be the last.
Special thank you to Parker School Uniforms, school board members, HSA, staff, parents and students who attended the State of the School Address.
